The Light of Lyra
In cosmic depths where beauty reigns,
The Veil of Aetheris sustains,
A realm of stars and nebulae bright,
With sapphire swirls and amber light.
The Obsidian Maw with hunger vast,
Devours all in shadows cast,
A fiery ring its edge does trace,
Warping space in wild embrace.
The Watchers built this sacred place,
Guardians of the cosmic race,
From mortal form to energy pure,
Their sanctuary would endure.
Elysara gleams beneath the Maw,
A world of wonder without flaw,
Its people sing with glowing skin,
Unknowing of the dark within.
Young Lyra shines with vibrant hue,
Her heart still beats with passion true,
She hears the cries from worlds below,
As darkness spreads its fearful glow.
To council halls she makes her plea,
The Maw grows strong, can’t they see?
Zorath, unmoved, holds balance dear,
Elysian loss he does not fear.
But Lyra vows to save their fate,
Defying all, she won’t wait,
To Elysara she descends in grace,
A radiant form in starlit space.
Kaelis greets with hopeful eyes,
Together they will stem the skies,
A song of unity they weave,
A shield of light they must believe.
The Maw fights back with shadowed might,
Lyra’s essence fades from sight,
The Watchers wake, their hearts now stirred,
Zorath’s cold logic overturned.
United strength the Watchers lend,
The shield holds firm, the dark must bend,
The Maw restrained, the Veil restored,
Elysara’s fate no more ignored.
Yet Lyra’s light has paid the cost,
Her essence scattered, fully lost,
A spire rises in her name,
A shard of light to hold her flame.
The Elysians sing of her deed,
Their guardian gone, yet still they heed,
Her spark ignites the stars above,
A cosmic hymn of hope and love.
The Veil endures, its Watchers grow,
A warmer vigil now they know,
The universe hums Lyra’s tune,
Her light eternal as the moon.
