The Heart of the Hybrid
In the forest's embrace, where shadows play, Lived a hybrid, not of night but of day, Nyxara, with fur like fire's glow, Part fox, part human, in the wild did grow. Her coat, a leather, dark and sleek, With fox ears perked, her path did seek, Through woods she roamed, with cunning grace, A creature born of two worlds' embrace. A mission called, from dreams it came, To find the Heart, in forest's name, A gem of life, of balance true, To bridge the wild with what man knew. Through streams that sang in twilight's hush, And thorns that whispered in the bush, She ventured forth, her fox tail high, With human wit, she'd not defy. At journey's end, in magic's glade, The Heart of Forest, light did wade, Guarded by a spirit, old as time, Who questioned her, "Why seek this climb?" "I stand between," Nyxara spoke, "With fox's cunning and human's cloak, To heal the divide, nature from man, With this Heart, I'll forge a plan....
